About Us
The Ultimate
Mission of KELANTAN BIOTECH CORPORATION SDN BHD is “To
Revive the Excellence of Islamic Civilization In
Biotechnology”. Taking into considerations of the
state’s vast potential in the agricultural sector, its rich
natural resources and its dynamic human capital, the company
aims to achieve the following objectives:

To uplift the
economic status of state through the infusion of
biotechnology in key economic activities, especially in
the agricultural sector, and
-
To embark on
capacity building in biotechnology by developing our own
technology platform while at the same time facilitates
the growth of the industry in the state, especially by
encouraging the private sector’s involvement in
biotechnology.
We begin
operations in a very humble set-up in September, 2006. We
have been empowered to lay a solid foundation for the growth
of an important field in the formation of the K-Economy in
the state of Kelantan. This journey of a million miles had
begun with collaboration works among sincere and reputable
partners to develop our core capabilities in agro-bioprocessing
and microbial propagation to produce commercially viable
products. Plans to establish a state of the art
bio-processing facility had started to materialize. Not far
in the future we see the company propelling the
biotechnology industry in the state and the country in
various areas such as biotechnology entrepreneurship
incubation, bioprospecting and development of novel
biomaterials using our mega-biodiversity potentials,
production of new enzymes and in extremely challenging areas
such as development of alternative energy using various
biofuel feedstocks.
